I’m Crista. I graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara and live in Los Angeles.
This is my many attempts to create a blog. I've tried to maintain a blog before, but I've always fail to update it. Probably because whenever I make something I usually want to immediately enjoy it, not take & upload photos than write about. But with friends and family asking how I’ve done something, I figured this would be easier than explaining a how to or step by step. So we all win. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that this one actually stays updated.
I’m not a photographer so I apologize now for photos that may not be high quality. Most of the pictures are probably taken are with my phone. Why? Because it’s usually the closest thing to me and my actual camera is either lost in one of my purses or the battery is dead.
I don’t just have one hobby. One day you’ll find me gathering canvas and paint and the next day you’ll find me baking and decorating cupcakes. In fact, I don’t think I could ever just have one hobby. There are too many things I enjoy and I tend to bounce around from one project to another.
I'm also not a chef. Over the past 5 years, thanks to my boyfriend who thought it was ridiculous that all I could make was Kraft Mac and Cheese, I've taught myself. After many failed and successful dinners and hours spent watching Food Network and browsing countless food websites, I think that I've gotten so much better.... and my boyfriend can agree with that since he blames me for "fattening" him up because I started cooking real food.
